Harnesses will be modified with a zip tie to secure them, and a stabilizing compound will be applied to the terminal ends of the affected wiring harness connectors. If fault codes are not found, the existing wiring harness will be modified with a zip tie to secure it and a stabilizing compound will be applied to the terminal ends of the affected wiring harness connector(s). The work described above will be performed at no cost to customers. Volkswagen will offer a reimbursement program under this recall.
