| Country | Beginning Model Year | Ending Model Year | Vehicle | Vehicle Count |
| USA | 2022 | 2022 | E-TRON GT | 920 |
| CAN | 2022 | 2022 | E-TRON GT | 202 |
Problem Description
The units for the values of the tire pressure table in the owner’s manual (kPa and PSI) were assigned to the wrong columns and therefore do not match the actual numbers. The tire pressure values on the B-pillar “Tire and Loading Information” label are correct; however, if a customer tries to inflate the tires solely according to the tire pressure table in the owner’s manual, the tires could be either over- or under-inflated, which could lead to a negative effect on driving stability, potentially causing a loss of vehicle control which might lead to a crash.
Corrective Action
Provide an owner’s manual insert with the corrected tire pressure table. Audi
will be mailing this owner’s manual insert to customers along with the recall notification letter. Dealers with affected vehicles in inventory are asked to follow the work instructions in this circular to ensure that this supplement is included with the glove box literature/owner manual of each affected inventory vehicle.
Code Visibility
On or about February 25, 2022, the campaign code will be applied to affected vehicles.
Owner Notification
Owner notification will take place in March 2022. Owner letter examples are included in this bulletin for your reference.

Chronology :
November 2021: Audi
of America informed Audi
AG that they found a mistake within the owner’s manual regarding the tire pressure table. An immediate investigation was started and the topic was submitted to the Audi
Product Safety Committee.
November 2021 – January 2022: A Stop-Order was issued for all vehicles still in the port and the factory. The online owner´s manual was corrected and a supplement with the corrected tire pressure table was issued and attached to the owner’s manual in production. Vehicles still in the port and in the factory also received the owner´s manual insert. Affected scope of vehicles in the field was verified and the topic was discussed with the North American market regarding regulatory requirements and possible impacts. Evaluation found that FMVSS 110 regulates the so called B-pillar label, which is correct in this matter and referenced in the owner’s manual as the source for tire pressures. However, 49 CFR § 575.6(a)(4) requires an information for the customer regarding the correct tire pressure. Risk assessment for the possibility to fill in the wrong tire pressure by the customer.
February 09, 2022: Although there is no FMVSS non-compliance and the tire pressure label on the B-pillar is correct, the Audi
Product Safety Committee decides a voluntary recall in order to provide customers with an updated correct tire pressure table.
Audi
is not aware of any customer complaints, warranty records, crashes or injuries due to this issue.

06E7 USA IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL <MONTH YEAR> <CUSTOMER NAME> <CUSTOMER ADDRESS> <CUSTOMER CITY STATE ZIPCODE> This notice applies to your vehicle: <MODEL YEAR> <BRAND> <CARLINE>, <VIN> NHTSA: 22V085 Subject: Compliance Recall 06E7 – Owner’s Manual Information – Tire Pressures Dear Audi
Owner, This notice is sent to you in accordance with the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act. Audi
has decided that certain 2022 model year Audi
vehicles fail to conform to Federal Regulation 49 CFR § 575.6(a)(4) regarding tire pressure information. Our records show that you are the owner of a vehicle affected by this action. What is the issue? The units for the values of the tire pressure table in the owner’s manual (kPa and PSI) were assigned to the wrong columns and therefore do not match the actual numbers. The tire pressure values on the B-pillar “Tire and Loading Information” label are correct; however, if a customer tries to inflate the tires solely according to the tire pressure table in the owner’s manual, the tires could be either over- or under-inflated, which could lead to a negative effect on driving stability, causing a loss of vehicle control which might lead to a crash. What will we do? To correct this noncompliance, we have enclosed an owner’s manual insert that contains the corrected information regarding tire pressures. We ask you to please review this information and keep it with your vehicle owner’s manual for future reference. If you prefer to visit your authorized Audi
dealer to have them place this insert in your vehicle, you are welcome to schedule an appointment. This work will take just a few minutes for your dealer to complete and will be performed for you free of charge. Please keep in mind that your dealer may need additional time for the preparation of the repair, as well as to accommodate their daily workshop schedule. What should you do? Please contact your authorized Audi
dealer without delay to schedule this recall repair. For your convenience, you can also visit www.audiusa.com and click on the “Find a Dealer” link to locate a dealer near you and schedule this service. Lease vehicles and address changes If you are the lessor and registered owner of the vehicle identified in this action, the law requires you to forward this letter immediately via firstclass mail to the lessee within ten (10) days of receipt.
¿Qué vamos a hacer?

AG Address : Auto-Union-Str. 1 Ingolstadt 85057 Country : United States Chronology : November 2021: Audi
of America informed Audi
Risk assesment for the possibility to fill in the wrong tire pressure by the customer.
Part 573 Safety Recall Report 22V-085 Page 3 The information contained in this report was submitted pursuant to 49 CFR §573 Description of Remedy : Description of Remedy Program : The corrected tire pressure table will be provided to customers as an insert to the vehicle owner’s manual. Because the vehicles are within the New Vehicle Limited Warranty period, Audi will not offer a reimbursement program under this recall. How Remedy Component Differs from Recalled Component : The remedy component is an owner’s manual insert providing the corrected table for the tire pressure values. It can be distinguished from the recalled component because it is labeled as an addendum/insert to the owner’s manual. Identify How/When Recall Condition was Corrected in Production : Vehicles produced after December 06, 2021 have received the owner’s manual insert consisting of the corrected tire pressure table. Model year 2023 vehicles will receive a corrected owner’s manual as part of the normal production process.
