Technical Background
Failure to reinstall oil sleeves when servicing cam shafts and adjusters.
Service
When removing the camshaft adjusters, note that both adjusters have an inner oil sleeve (figure 1). The sleeves must be reinstalled on both adjusters, whenever installing the adjusters on the camshafts (figure 2). Failure to install both sleeves will result in DTC P0017 to setting.
